A few months back I was approached by Brendan Freeman of the design collective We Are Useful of London for an interview for their new publication, USED. I'm not sure where the magazine is available, but you can check it out at weareuseful.com. It's a beautiful magazine, all black and white on matte paper, which features the work of artists, designers, and photographers with interviews and articles. Definitely worth a peek. Here is my interview from the magazine:

This is Fanfarlo:

I've alluded to this project a little bit on the blog already, but I've been working on several pieces for their forthcoming album and tour over the last month or so. This is my first real collaboration, my first real design job, and the first time someone has ever paid me for my work, so it's been really exciting and honoring for me. Working with them has been great- we connected right away and have a lot in common in our philosophies and aesthetics so the ideas have just been coming really naturally.
I wish I could give  more details but for now all I can say is I've heard some of the new songs and the album is going to be brilliant!
Stay tuned!
